Summary

Charlie Wexler interviewed Brianna Melbourne, with only a few interruptions from her mother, and sent them home. He had also interviewed Vanessa Robideaux and sent her home.

Bryson Payne called Charlie Wexler, trying to get him to let Frenchy and his buddies go, saying it was a school issue not a police one. Charlie again bluffed a bit over John Ordway's death and clearly rattled Bryson.

Vixen suggested they should call in at Spearfish Lake Outfitters to thank Mrs. Archer for the bear spray. During discussioon about colleges Mrs. Archer made a strong suggestion that they talk with Cody and Jan.

Charlie Wexler stopped by the Erikson house and called a cease fire in the water fight while he told them of the confessions. He suggested they be in court next morning to hear what would happen next.

At the Frostee Freeze the big news was that Bryson Payne had resigned as high school principal.

In court next morning, Frenchy continued to refuse a lawyer. When sentenced for the assault he shouted across the court room to Alan Jahnke. Judge Dieball then doubled the jail sentence. He also added time for breaching the personal protection order.

Matt and Larry both had a lawyer who got the charge reduced on exchange for a guilty plea. They each got probation and community service with a number of other restrictions.
