Summary
Many of the crew left for home and winter jobs.
Vivian rented a house for Chick and Hattie, Rocky, Pepper and Mel. Hattie didn't have a job so the other four covered her rent and she became house mother to them.
The cars and trucks all needed work. When a specialist tool or a part was needed it was often found in Herb's service department. Hoss repaired and repainted body panels at Korodan's Body Shop.
Two new cars were built and Frank traded the box truck for a newer bigger one do they didn't have to pull an equipmemt trailer.
Chick's, Woody's and Mel's cars also got engine rebuilds. Mel's got a replacement engine om exchange for his V8-60 to be a spare for MMSA.
Chick and Hattie got a good deal on a small prewar travel trailer from Herb Kralick so they could live as a family on the road.
