Summary
Frank and Carnie spent the winter setting dates for the 1951 season.
Frank, Carnie, Mel and Vivian drove down to Florida to check out the Daytona race. By Cincinnati Mel realised it was an opportunity for Frank and Vivian to get some time together away from her parents.
Mel met up with Goober Buford and was allowed to run a few laps of the Daytona beach circuit in Goober's Nash. He even drove a few laps of the race when Goober needed to get rid of the beers he'd been drinking.
