Summary
Donna Clark called in to Garth Matson's office at the bank to ask whether he'd heard recently from their daughter, Barbara.
Rose Gravengood greeted her husband Phil when he got home from work.
The train stopped as agreed to let the scouts off at the Stoner Creek bridge. Once everything was on the ground and the train had left they loaded the canoes before moving them down the steep bank into the creek. They travelled a few miles before setting up camp. Once that was complete the boys went for a swim in the Spearfish River. Bob Rathburn wasn't feeling well and didn't swim. Jim Blanchard thought he was a bit overheated and encouraged him to swim a bit.
