Summary
Garth drove out to West Turtle Lake Club after work and stripped off to swim in the lake. He thought about how he'd met Helga and her family history from Germany after World War I to New Jersey in 1942.
Brent Clark was hot from working on a roof and suggested the family go out to West Turtle Lake Club to cool off. His wife Ursula suggested they have dinner first to avoid the vegetarian meal Helga Matson would offer them otherwise. While changing he thought about his history with Ursula, his friendship with Garth Matson, and his dislike of his father Wayne which combined to result in him starting a construction business. Ryan had been building a drag line crane with his Erector Set from his knowledge of the kit and his imagination.
