Summary
As they drive to the airport from Jenny's last gig, Blake is offering to go to Chicago or Camden with Jenny, but Jenny tells him to go straight to San Francisco, as she'll turn back into Jennifer. She is due to start work on a film, while after taxes and Knox's take, they will make a lot of money out of it.
Jenny is just looking forward to the break. She's had a report from the Defenders of Gaea, who haven't really done anything yet.
Jennifer gets back to Spearfish Lake, but only goes to see her dad at the Appliance store, as she would disrupt things too much at the Record-Herald. Gil tells her that both Phil & Brandy are at home, so Jennifer rushes over to see them and catch up on news, finding out about Danny and Josh's first date with the Ashtenfelter girls and saving Ed and Jill Sloat's lives. Danny & Josh are working as trainee brakemen for Bud, and Tara is at a Girl Scout camp (where Nicole Szczerowski later works). Garth and Michelle are in Milwaukee.
Heather has returned from Hawaii upset with Japanese whaling, she suggests the possibility of organising a suicide attack on a whaling ship.
Dale & Harris tell her about the Gibson's Water Snake in Spearfish Lake, and give her Dr. Gerjevic's name. Heather is disappointed that it only involves assessment to start with, although she is told that the donor funding them will be aware of what's going on, and wants monthly reports.
Heather decides to clear out of her apartment for the duration.
