Summary
After watching turkey vultures for an hour or so, Jack and Vixen headed back to town to get on with lawn work. Checking both mowers before starting Jack found that Howie had left them both dry so he had to get gas for them. Vixen suggested he get just what they'd need and leave Howie to buy his own for the lawns he cut.
While they were at the Fiesta Station Frenchy LeDroit turned up and started threatening Jack until Cody Archer told him to back off.
Summer had set her alarm so that getting up for school wouldn't be so much of a shock. Her mother was in the kitchen and offered to make breakfast. Summer told her she had the pictures Jack had taken and the promise he'd made. She also told of kissing Alan and that she hoped for more of it.
