Summary
Jack took Vixen to breakfast at the Spearfish Lake Café on a misty morning. He told her about Howie's fight with Frenchy, and Misty hanging around Howie as a result.
At the swamp Vixen told Jack about her conversation with her mother the night before. They agreed to hold off a couple of months before going all the way.
The display of turkey vultures drying their wings in the sun impressed Vixen, and her reaction told Jack that she really was interested in the birds.
