When he graduated high school he sold his truck to Matt Wadsworth for a very good price in exchange for storing some things in Matt's room and a lift to the bus station in Camden. He told Matt about how his mother was coaching Misty to control boyfriends and didn't mind if Matt spread it around. He said he was going into the Marines but in fact joined the Air Force.^RFW20
