Summary
When football players arrive at school for the first practice they're sent to the gym for a meeting. Mrs Wine first confirms that all except one of the previous coaches have left and then introduces the three new coaches.
Once the excitement settles down she calls a group of varsity players to the front and tells them they've broken the Athletic Code of Conduct and cannot play this season. A second group with less serious infractions are suspended for the start of the season.
With only five remaining varsity team players she then promotes the sophomores and freshmen to varsity and challenges them to restore the honor to Spearfish Lake football.
