Ron Mykelhoff was a teacher at Spearfish Lake High School who became boys basketball coach. In that he was helped by Amanda Musgrave who had been a member of the legendary Magnificent Seven.
A romance developed between Ron and Amanda and they were married in spring 2010.
In August 2010, Ron agreed to help with the new football new coaches with names while they got to know the kids.
