Summary
Sunday Jim took Scooter over to the Canyon Tours office, and left her there, with plans to get together again after her next trip. This is her first trip as leader without either Crystal or Al to backstop her, but it goes smoothly. The crew agrees that they will do the food shopping for the next trip early Sunday morning, so that they can have the Saturday completely free.
When they got back to Flagstaff, she heads over to the office to catch Al, both to ask him about shifting the food run to Sunday, and to catch up on how the rest of the wedding trip had gone. He says that the food is up to her, and that some groups had done it that way in the past.
She is surprised to see Noah on the roster for the next trip, and Al tells her about his quitting his church job and that he and Crystal were getting a lot closer.
Al also explains how that trip will include Trey and Myleigh with Blue Beauty and a lot of very expensive recording equipment; she wanted to capture the music that she had heard the Canyon try to tell her on the last trip. He goes on to tell her that Nanci had been baptised, and that she would be a swamper again; she had worked out well after Scooter had left the trip.
The last bit of news is that Nicole got over her fear of the rapids, and had arranged to go as a swamper on a late summer trip. Randy was not happy about this, but ended up agreeing to go on the winter sailing trip with the girls when he heard that Noah would be along. Jeff told Al that he had such a good time that he wanted to go on a full length trip sometime in the future.
