Summary

We follow Emily's progress from part-time worker at the Spee-D-Mart, becoming a member of the Bradford Chamber of Commerce, contributor to the Bradford Courier and finally onto the Bradford City Council. Now Lloyd Weber recruits her to write features and report on the Albany Township meeting. Emily considers the political complications she is now part of, such as the new supervisor of the Department of Public Works.

Vicky arrives after interviewing for a new job at Macy Controls. They both hope she gets it.
