Summary

The mud season at the beginning of spring slows down the start of construction on the three new Clark Plywood buildings but it does get started.

Randy does a from-the-kayak inspection of the Windmill Island / Chandler Lake site. He could see that there were going to be construction and logistics issues, but the project was practical and could be done.

Nicole’s due date had come and gone earlier in the week, and she was going to be having the baby any day. A few days later Randy, Carlos and Ken were reworking the Windmill Island house estimate when Nicole called and said that it’s time... Randy drove home, picked her up, and they began the hour-long drive to Camden General hospital where she's immediately taken to Delivery and Randy does the paperwork, then joins her. Brent Wayne Clark is born about three in the morning. Randy goes out to the waiting room and finds Myleigh and Trey there, ready to take him home as they knew he'd be too tired to drive safely.

As Trey drives the three of them home, they discuss parenthood, responsibility, teachers tenure, work and family balance, and the fact that Myleigh and Trey are still considering children... but at almost 40 years old Myleigh can't put the decision off much longer.
