Summary
Dr. Thompson was fuming about Charles deRidder but put it aside while planning next steps to handle the situation. Nick Steward volunteered to answer the phone while Dr. Thompson and Susan called directors in. Finding some girls still wrapped in blankets he asked Susan to get the bookshop to send over some shirts for them.
Alan and Summer were amazed to enjoy a lively, friendly discussion as Reverend Fowler drove them home. He asked them if he could talk about them in his sermon next day, and then really surprised them by asking them to come to church so he could introduce them.
Despite Dr. Thompson's obvious anger, Charles deRidder defended his action in suspending Cody Archer. When he said Cody had previously murdered two people Susan McMahon stepped in to provide the facts about the incident in Spearfish Lake. Dr. Thompson fired deRidder and asked George Wilt to accompany him as he cleared his office.
