Summary
Stacy found out about the shooting after it was all over. Her mom phoned saying she should come home and go to the community college, which Stacy steadfastly refused to do. Stacy even thought working with Laura at the nudist resort would be better than going home next summer.
When Brenda Hodunk got off the plane in Chicago she phoned Fred Appleby for the latest news and to confirm he wanted her to go to Hawthorne to get a story. (Fred Appleby was wrongly named Bob Phillips in this chapter.)
Dr. Thompson told Susan McMahon to play down deRidder's statement and departure at the press conference, just that she was Acting Dean of Students.
Dorothe Bennett helped the police find Kyle Reed's file in the Hawthorne College records and made copies for them.
Kristy Baumgartner interviewed Logan McBride and Nancy Halifax outside the ER. There wasn't any new information but Nancy's reaction and look of love made a great shot.
When the police let them go, Jack and Vixen were acompanied by Laura when they went back to their apartment. Laura quickly fell asleeep on the sofa while Jack and Vixen made good use of their bed before taking a nap themselves.
