Summary
Following the diuscussion with his father Cody realised he'd never actually told Janice he loved her. Demonstrated it, yes, but never said it.
Monday morning they were in court for Janice's name change.
Tuesday Janice took her driving test and passed. She'd now get her permanent license as Janice Archer.
One evening at the Frostee Freeze Cody and Janice meet up with Wyatt Curtis and Spring Trevetheck. Janice teels them about her name change. The talk about colleges and finances. Spring suggested they apply to the Donna Clark Foundation because Susan McMahon got a pretty good grant out of them.
Conversation moved on to the new school principal before Allen Untermeyer and Dick Hamilton turned up. Untermeyer started to insult Janice and when Cody spoke up he attacked him but Cody got in better. Dick Hamilton then took a swing at Cody who avoided it and put him down too. Cody then called 911 for an ambulance.
A bystander commented that with those two out of action for Friday's football game the team was in a real mess.
