Summary
After a tour of the campus and getting their questions answered by a student, Cody and Janice received their provisional acceptance letters from George Wilt and asked him about local campsites. He offered them use of a dorm room for free instead.
In the room they talked about the costs of college and how they'd find the money.
They drove home by Chicago for the experience of busier roads and managed it but decided the longer way through Mackinaw City was better.
At home they talk about the trip, Southern Michigan University and the pistol championship.
On their own, John talked to Cody about his sleeping with Janice and how far it had gone. He pointed out that her being raped meant that she was still a virgin in terms of voluntary enjoyable sex.
