Summary

The Archer family returned home from court to find their house a crime scene. Luke Colby told them what he knew before Sheriff Steve Stoneslinger told them what had happened and asked him to give them an hour. They used the time to let Matt Schindenwulfe know what had happened.

Steve Stoneslinger was still in the house when a woman from Family and Children's Services demanded they let her take Janice Lufkin away. He supported John in sending her away because Janice was no longer a minor so of no interest to her department.

Candice reluctantly permitted Janice to sleep in Cody's bed again.
