Summary
Bree won the individual, and the Marlins won the girls team state cross-country championships at Michigan International Speedway.
A couple of weeks later the Marlins football team faced the Bradford Bulldogs in the state final at the Ford Field in Detroit. The Marlins failed to make a vital score in the final seconds.
