Summary
It's the day after the hour-long WNN Newsmagazine presentation by Brenda Hodunk entitled The Fast World of Learjet Jenn. Jennlynn is talking with her Lambdatron coworkers about the interview when Jeff and Sheila arrive. Jeff gives the briefest hint of a need and Jennlynn is ready to whip out her checkbook, but Jeff carefully slows her down.
It seems that their Bolivian Mission lost one of their airplanes to a engine-failure-caused crash so Jeff and Sheila are doing a money raising circuit. One stop was a church in Bradford, MI where they unexpectedly met Jennlynn's parents. They confessed, publicly, their failure that sent Jennlynn away and ask for forgiveness, knowing they don't have a right to expect one. The revelation causes Jennlynn to dig through herself, which she tries to postpone while purchasing a replacement airplane for the Waldemer's mission.
The chapter closes with Jeff, Sheila and Jennlynn on their way to see the airplane broker in Greely, Colorado. Jeff is in the pilot's seat of the Learjet and Jennlynn in the right seat, carefully instructing him just as Mike once taught her. Jennlynn has some thinking to do as they fly eastwards...
