Summary
Jennlynn demonstrates her skill in negotiation in helping Jeff and Sheila buy the Cessna 207 they needed. As Jeff says "I talked with him for a couple hours to beat him down $2500, and you beat him down another $15,000 or so in five minutes." She shrugs it off as a skill honed for years as a prostitute.
She supervises getting the Lear refueled, then wanders down the line of used airplanes, reflecting on the last time she was at Greeley.MC14 She finds her old faithful and original Magic Carpet Cessna 150 in the back row of used airplanes, and it's in really bad shape. Without any negotiation, she agrees to pay $9500 to buy it back.
She understands that she can't ask an airplane for forgiving her thoughtlessness when she can't do the same for her parents.
She decides she'll return to Bradford, and accepts Jeff and Sheila's willingness to go with her.
