Summary
Gil and Danny go for breakfast at Rick's Cafe. Gil thanks Danny for taking the heat off Tara with Garth & Michelle, who don't know that Tara is lesbian. Whilst Gil and Carrie aren't that happy about it, they know she's much happier now than when she was married.
At the cafe they meet Josh & John Archer. Josh wants to talk to Danny about being a brakeman, though Gil requests a somewhat predictable schedule so that Carrie and he can take some time off. John points out that Danny's income taxes will be very different this year due to the divorce, and that they need to schedule some time at his office to do some serious tax planning.
Back at the appliance store Debbie calls around to pick up some ads from Gil and Danny. Gil tells Debbie that Danny will run the store whilst Gil and Carrie are away.
