Summary
Because of the Friday launch, they got to Lee's Ferry late in the day, but began unloading and rigging the rafts that had been in the water at Diamond Creek Wash that same morning. They had to quit when it became dark.
The next morning, they were just about done when Crystal unexpectedly drove up in her white Dodge and Jon, Tanisha, Crystal, and Nanci - bruised and with a black eye - emerged. Karin asks Scooter to take Nanci over to get a soda, and thinks that she looks a lot like Michelle.
Nanci joins Al and Karin, and Scooter talks with Barbie for a while. Barbie is interested in spending more time in the Canyon, but isn't sure that she wants to make it her life work. Al tells her that Nanci is joining the trip, and asks her to give her a chance, in spite of the grief that she's caused for Crystal over the years.
They decide to have lunch at Lee's before leaving. Trey tells Scooter that he and Myleigh are moderately close friends, but when the bus comes in and Myleigh spots him and threw her arms around him, and laid what could only be called a seriously hot kiss on him. This surprises Crystal and Scooter, who asks "What else is going to happen before we get on the river?"
