Summary

The new doctor, Tricia York, is introduced to Spearfish Lake, including to Danny Evachevski, who knows secrets from her past. While worried about that, she's encouraged to discover this town, like most, has a few oddballs.

In the last chapter of Square One, the first chapter of Hiding Patty is foretold, though the details of the welcome reception are different: in Square One the reception is held at the Spearfish Lake Inn and Dr York is introduced by Dr Metarie; in Hiding Patty the reception is at Spearfish Lake Appliance and Furniture store and Dr York is, at least initially, introduced by Dr Luce.
