Summary

Garth Matson was finishing off some work at the bank when Sarah Ferguson phoned from Western Union to read a telegram informing him that Bob Rathburn had died.

After telling the Luces he left the hospital when Gail Saunders was brought in.

While wondering what to do he had a recollection of seeing a magazine article with plans for an iron lung type respirator. He called in at Pedersens Barbershop where Ralph and his customers helped search through the stack of magazines until it was found.+
