Summary
Bud and Josh are doing a run. Josh is seated in the Fireman's seat, quietly thinking about how the relationships between him, Danny, Amy and Marsha seem to have changed.
Bud starts to sound him out about going to college or working on the railroad. Josh isn't sure that he wants to go to college, and likes the railroad.
Don is worried that despite the Gibson's Water Snake, they will still be required to keep their plant in compliance by the EPA, so he asks Jack for an idea of what to do if the sewer separation idea is ruled out but they still have to do something.
Jack mentions a retention pond, explains how it would work, and Don tells him to start working on a plan, but to keep it quiet.
Jenny is working as an actress in a movie, but finds this boring compared to making music. She is still in a good mood, though, from her recent vacation in Spearfish Lake, and talks with Blake about moving back there permanently.
Jenny and Blake read her next-day-air mailed copy of the Spearfish Lake Record-Herald for the local news and to see if any suitable houses might be on the market. She finds a possibility...
