Summary
Clint Bork rode with Jack and Vixen with the two grass trucks following along the track towards the fire. On the way he radioed for all other units to wait on CR919 and for Jimmy Woodruff to load the Bork Logging bulldozer and bring it along.
Once at the hill he would later call Birdwatcher Hill Clint got his first look at the fire. He sent Jack and Vixen back to the road to guide the Clark road grader.
Bob Coopshaw was driving from Three Pines to drive the grader. He was worried about possible damage to the grader if Randy got something wrong. He was worried about his son who had been in trouble with the law and his wife blamed him.
