Summary
The Frostee Freeze was busy so Ashely Keilhorn asked Alan Jahnke and Summer Trevetheck to chat with Lyle Angarrack because she didn't have time to.
Courtney Dolfuss heard the engine of the sheriff's bass boat but ignored it because she was busy with Darrell Stersec.
The deputies and cops got ashore from the boat and were close to the fire before anyone noticed and tried to run. Chris Aaronsen shouted that everyone was under arrest and the officers started cuffing people.
People ran to the cars and piled in to any available and started out to the road. Scotty Parsons knew he was in trouble with the beer in his truck but thought he stood a better chance of getting away by leaving the truck.
Courtney Dolfuss and Darrell Stersec were away from the crowd and hadn't been noticed by the cops. They quietly moved away hoping to avoid arrest and get home somehow.
The officers from the boat arrested eleven, more than the sherrif had expected.
As Alison DuQuoin's car approached the road she was surprised by flood lights and a road grader blocking the track. Scotty Parsons ran into the trees but was soon brought back, under arrest.
When they left the car Eddie Awkerman and Don Johansen got into a fight which made them easier to capture.
Charlie Wexler and Steve Stoneslinger started hauling the kids off to the jail.
