Summary
Life for Jake and Rachel the rest of that summer, including Nate and Barb's wedding in late September out on the lake on the Chinook III, close to where Marge's ashes had been scattered.
Jake and Rachel took off to Florida with Pixie sailing for the winter, stopping off at Wychbold to introduce Rachel to Bob and Helen Lewis.
The following May Rachel and Jake married on Chinook III in a similar location to Barb and Nate's wedding.
Wayne and Annette moved on so Jake and Rachel moved into Barb's house.
Jake and Rachel started buying into the Channel Stop and the charter business.

Brittany Calldwell (nee Mecham) showed up one day to tell Jake that her son Matthew had leukemia and needed a bone marrow transplant but neither she nor Adam were a good match. She suspected Jake might be Matthew's father and asked him to get tested and be a bone marrow donor if he was a good match.
Jake proved to be a good match and the transplant was performed which pushed the leukemia into remission. Jake spent time with Matt who eventually spent a summer working at the Channel Stop and on the fishing boats.
Matthew Caldwell is the main character in Blanche Tickle Girl, the next book in the Full Sails series.
