Summary
Dave makes another visit to New York. Shae and Dave have not been discussing marriage, but Dave is thinking about it, without being definite.
January doldrums hit, with both Dave and Shae suffering from some bugs; a snowstorm canceling one of Shae's visits to Bradford; and Dave feeling boredom for the first time since his return to Bradford.
Emily is surprised and disappointed to find out that Sharon Van Tyle has sold the Spee-D-Mart, and she doesn't know where she'll be working in a few months. Dave gives her a pep talk.
