Summary
Frenchy let Monica take the truck to the Super Market while he looked after the kids. While she was preparing supper she told him that Lonnie had been in prison and was out now. She was worried that he might come and be trouble for her. Frenchy offered to stay as protection if she wanted, and to work round when she had her special friends round.
Matt Effingham phoned Frenchy one evening. He was looking forward to graduating Hish School and then finishing his community service before heading of fto the army.
