Summary
After a late firewood delivery, Frenchy's father was waiting for him and demanded more than the fifty bucks rent. He admitted the bank and credit card company got their payments before he saw his paycheck. Instead of beating his father Frenchy walked out.
He asked Monica if he could rent a room from her. She agreed, partly because she'd heard that Lonnie was in Camden and she'd feel safer with Frenchy in the house. When he went to get his truck from Sven, Sven asked if he'd got his stuff out of the house, and suggested they get the cops to keep it peaceful when they went to get it.
