Indianapolis 500
Indianapolis 500 is an annual motor race held over Memorial Day weekend (usually last weekend of May) at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Members of the Midwest Midget Sportsman Association provided pit crews to a number of drivers at the Indianapolis 500 from 1950 to 1954. When the MMSA were too far away to make the race Herb Kralick took mechanics from his Herb Kralick Ford dealership as pit crew.
Squirt Chenowith left the MMSA to wrench for his brother, Runt's qualifying attemp in 1951 and called on MMSA to provide a pit crew when Runt qualified for the race.BR1-17
Runt called for a pit crew the following year but the MMSA was in Wahoo, Nebraska so Chick Novesky and Herb Kralick made up a crew from Herb's service department.
1953 Herb's mechanics provided a crew for Runt Chenowith and the MMSA guys were pit crew for Squirt Chenowith.BR1-27
In 1954 the MMSA crew missed working the Indianapolis 500 as they were in Red Cloud, Nebraska.BR1-38
