Summary
With a nice day, weather-wise, Vicky takes her motorcycle out for a short ride and visits with Emily, who rides her Harley to work when she can. They schedule a longer ride for the next ride, when Kevin can watch the kids and their friends the Tylers and the Heisler have had some warning.
The two women ride out on Sunday. On the way, Emily decides to drop in at Malvern Hill. Bert remembers Vicky from her work on the Ulu and the presentation sabre he bought from Jason.
Bert has the Trebuchet set up to fling canteloupes and allows the women a turn. They enjoy themselves and Bert opens the invitation for Kevin and Jason to come out, which Emily worries over as Kevin already spends plenty of time away from home. Bert laughs, "First you get them interested, then you rope them in."
