Scott was part of the Bradford High Class of 1988 and considered the Class Dreamboat. He went to Michigan State University, as did Shelly Waltz. By the time of the 1998 Reunion, Scott was "an executive with Harvester Insurance, up in Lansing. We're doing OK, two kids, a nice home."MC26 The Tyler children were Sabra, just starting kindergarten in 1999, and Scotty, a little younger.HS17
Sonja is described as "a beautiful, bright, intelligent, and charming girl", but many of the girls in Bradford had "hopes dashed when the wedding came". HT21. The couple was among those that helped Dayna Berkshire at the time when she was touring Renfaires solo. Dayna put Sonja in a harem-girl outfit to great effect!HT24
Scott was among those that while not a bully himself, did nothing to help Denis Riley. He was "one of the people Denis would have happily shot before Shae stopped him". GM2
At the Heisler's 1998 Halloween Drag party, Scott was described as "a knockout, a virtual image of Vanna White -- he was wearing a blonde wig and a long blue sequined dress that seemed to be made of so much froth; it was very low cut, and there was more than a hint of cleavage."HS4 He won the Most Glamorous Costume award with it.
Scott and Sonja shared a table with Bob Spheris, Sharon Holdenhoven, Aaron and Amber Heisler at the class twenty year reunion.REU3
