Summary
George coins the phrase "Learjet Jenn, The Fastest Woman In The State of Nevada". Jennlynn, Phaedra, Amber and Shirley sit down at dinner, discussing the impact of Jennlynn being the only working girl in the state with her own Learjet. Shirley hands Jennlynn a letter, which is an invitation to her high school class 10th reunion in October. She gets a evil grin, and calls and tells them that she is coming.
A couple of her classmates meet her at the Hawthorne airport, expecting her still to be flying her little Cessna 150; they are flabbergasted when she gets out of the Lear. She gives them a tour of the Lear, including seating them in the pilots and copilots seats. She concludes the cockpit tour with That’s part of why I’ve never gotten married. I figured out a long time ago that boyfriends or husbands take a hell of a lot more time and energy to maintain than airplanes. At the reunion, she schmoozes with many of her classmates, noticing that she has probably done better financially than anyone else, and that a number of the females have put on weight, some quite a bit.
At dinner, they go around all the tables, everyone telling what they have done since graduation. After Dayna tells her story, Jennlynn says: I'm Jennlynn Swift. I've never been married. I graduated from Caltech with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering in 1992. Working at it part time, I got my doctorate in the same field two years ago. As I've told everyone here, I'm a workaholic. I'm currently a senior engineer and project manager for Lambdatron Corporation in Phoenix, where I live. Along with that, I'm a pilot with several advanced ratings, including an Airline Transport Rating in the Learjet 24. A few years ago I started my own air charter service as a sideline, Skyhook Aviation. My chief pilot is a retired general, and we operate a Cessna and the Learjet. My parents physically threw me out of the house on my ass in 1990, so to get through college, and continuing part-time ever since, I've also worked in the state of Nevada as a licensed prostitute. She comments on the Redlite and ends her introduction with "If anyone should happen to drop by to visit, I’m also known as Learjet Jenn, the fastest woman in the state of Nevada. If anyone wants further details, I’d be glad to talk about it later, but let’s get on with the introductions."
Needless to say, this silences everyone. After dinner, she talks to more of her classmates, and eventually heads back to the airport and makes a grand exit in the Lear in front of many classmates who had come to the airport to see the Lear for themselves.
