Brass Lantern

The Brass Lantern is a restaurant in Hawthorne, Michigan. "The Brass Lantern was supposed to be the best restaurant in Hawthorne, but many people seemed to think that the food was pretty mediocre."^GM2

It has rooms available for large functions, such as the memorable Bradford High School Tenth Reunion for the Class of 1988. While the event was enjoyable, the meal was sufficiently poor that Emily Holst decided "there was no way she was going to allow the twentieth reunion to be held there. It was being held at a smaller place across town, and she made sure everyone she invited to the reunion knew about it."^WLH9
