Summary
Tricia and Henry talked a lot more as she drove back towards Las Vegas. Henry asked her to pull over so he could kiss her. She accepted his marriage proposal and he gave her a ring. He suggeseted that changing her professional name to McMahon when they married would help put Peppermint Patty further behind her. They spent the night in a Las vegas hotel before returning to Spearfish Lake.
They were married on the Spearfish Lake beach off the end of Oak Street the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Debbie Elkstalker did the ceremony, Danny stood in for Tricia's father, the music by the Boreal String Band was more or less traditional.
During the reception Binky Augsberg admitted she'd deliberately rented the second half of the duplex to Henry hoping they might get together.
Six weeks later Henry photographed Dr. Gene Metarie and Dr. Tricia McMahon cutting the ribbon to open Spearfish Lake Medical Centre.
