Summary
Driving through the Nevada desert Tricia talked about her mother's poverty after the breakup of her marriage. She told Henry that she decided to become a doctor when she was nine years old in hospital. She told about her lack of student financial aid because her father would not fill in the forms, and student loans to get through her freshman year.
At the Redlite Ranch Bordello, Shirley and George greeted Tricia as Patty, which she had to explain to Henry as she introduced him. They showed him the place and talked a lot about what it meant for Patty in making her way to becoming an MD.
As they left Tricia wondered how Henry was reacting to what he'd seen.
