Sarah Ferguson is the cook at the upgraded Redlite Ranch bordello in Antelope Valley, Nevada. Her cooking generates some extra business for the cathouse.
Sarah was a high school classmate of Shirley Hoffman, implying she was born and raised in Nevada all her life.
Sarah was described as "a heavy-set widow Shirley's age, not very talkative, and ... a serious Mormon".MC15 She is also described as a magnificent cook. "Most people thought she wasn't very bright, and really she wasn't, but she'd been cooking for miners for about as long as Shirley had been servicing them, and Sarah figured that the prostitutes were less trouble and better behaved.
