Summary
A few days later see the friends planning a trip to the ski resort on the Three Pines reservation. Randy can use the opportunity to show off some of the recent Clark Construction work while everybody can enjoy some skiing. Debbie and Danny have their own trip there planned and can't join the skiing. Everybody enjoys the skiing and the fireside back in the lodge before things are cut short by a phone call: Randy's grandfather has had another heart attack and is being MedEvac'ed (helicoptered) to the Camden hospital.
The six friends return to Spearfish Lake before Randy and Nicole head for the hospital. On arrival, Randy learns that Brent didn't make it off the helicopter. The Clark family now shifts into making funeral arrangments.
