Summary
Adam trailed the Knick-Knack to Sims Boat Yard in Florida and found Amanda Lewis working on the Rag Doll. He stayed in a motel while took a couple of days to sort Knick-Knack out. Then he treated Amanda, Ron Lewis and a couple of Ron's coastguard friends to Christmas dinner and they helped him get Knick-Knack's mast up and the boat into the water.
Next day he started south and didn't spend much time exploring. He was tidying Knick-Knack in a marina south of Ft. Pierce when he was surprised by Audrey Melbourne calling to him. They spent the evening at a restaurant and the next day Adam took her sailing on the ocean proper in mild conditions. By the end of that day they agreed that Audrey would accompany him for a while, maybe until they both had to head north in March.
