Summary
Adam and Audrey took the Knick-Knack across Florida on the canal through Lake Okeechobee to the west coast. Audrey was sleeping in the V-berth while Adam used the dinette made down into a bnk. They grew closer and comfortable with each other wile they sailed. One evening Audrey said how much she was enjoying the trip and worked round to saying “if you’d be interested in a fling, I most certainly am.”. Adam asserted that he'd be interested in something longer term but Audrey said she would have to limit it to this trip because of her family. From then on they shared the dinette bunk.
They continued south and then turned north up the east coast to get Audrey back to her appartment to pack up and return to Toronto.
On a number of ocasions Adam talked about his planned trip on Moonshadow next summer inviting Audrey to join him. She said it was very tempting but it would upset her son and daughter-in-law though her daughter would probably encourage her. When they parted Adam left the invitation open.
