Summary
Adam drove to Blanche Tickle to visit Mary and Matty. He was able to tell Mary that Brittany was gtting more realistic about Matty. He enjoyed the visit, and toyed with the idea of trying to make more of a relationship with Mary but realised that age wasn't the only difference which would make it difficult.
A little work at Caldwell-Deerfield, including signing a new contract with Ford and telling Bob how well he was doing.
Adam called Jake and asked if there was anything he could help with on Moonshadow. Jake told him to come up and there'd be things for him to do. Jake asked Adam if he could use the Atomic 4 engine from Moonshadow as parts for the one on Rag Doll and Adam happily agreed to help Amanda out. When work on Moonshadow was winding down Jake suggested Adam take the Knick-Knack down to Florida to go cruising. Adam quickly decided it was the best idea for the rest of winter and took what he needed from Moonshadow for Knick-Knack and started the trip.
