Summary

Adam spent two days at Caldwell-Deerfield reviewing what had been completed while he'd been away. Everything was going well without him and there was no point in upsetting a smoothly running team.

Adam spent an evening with Beverly, and would be happy to again but decide he wouldn't like living with her on the Moonshadow.

Deke Hampton told him that Children's Protective Services had offered a settlement of the suit, and recommended they accept it as it would more than cover his fees.

Adam called Lisa Alwyn and Carolyn Lewis to learn something of Brittany. Lisa confirmed that Brittany had moved to Wychbold near her parents. Lisa invited him to dinner to talk about sailing around Georgian Bay and the Moonshadow. Carolyn agreed to get together - they arranged for a night at the casino in Battle Creek.

He called Brittany saying he had to be at the Meridian plant and would like to see her while near Wychbold. He had a good visit and wouldn't have minded staying longer but he had to stick to his story and go to the Meridian plant. Brittany was calmer about Mary and Matty and for the first time it seemed it might be possible for her to meet them.

Adam invited Carolyn to join him on his planned trip on Moonshadow next year, which she declined because she enjoyed her current lifestyle.
