Matthew O’Leary Caldwell was the son of Matthew Caldwell and Mary Sue O’Leary, born about 3 monhs after Matthew died of leukaemia.
He was generally referred to and called Matty and lived with his mother in Blanche Tickle, Newfoundland. His grandfather Adam Caldwell visited a few times but kept that fact secret from Matty's grandmother Brittany.
