Summary

The Fish and Wildlife Service sent a legal notice to the Record-Herald of a "proposal to declare an interim area of critical habitat in Spearfish County for the Gibson’s water snake (Nerodia sipedon gibsoni), an endangered species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973."

Mike asked Don Kutzley about it and got Dr. Frank Gerjevic's name.

Harris Harper and Dale McMullen talked about Jenny Easton's shoot for them. McMullen mentioned Spearfish Lake and Harper remembered seeing something about a funding request from there.

Pam Appleton was looking down a sewer when John Pacobel showed her the paper and complained that she and Frank Gervejic were trying to grab all the credit for identifying the Gibson's water snake.
