Summary
Opening day at the revitalised Bradford Speedway was hectic with far more cars, and variety of cars, than Mel had expected.
Frank Blixter was pressed into being track announcer. At the end of the day he agreed to do it as often as he could.
Mel and Arlene ran a few parade laps in the restored MMSA cars before racing got started.
