Summary
Emily tries to apologize for the rough time Denis had in High School, but Eve points out that despite bad memories, she has good ones, such as discovering the friendship of Shae. There is a brief discussion about living with secrets.
In the flashback, Eve and Shae are reunited after a two month gap. Eve has had facial feminization surgery in San Francisco while Shae spent the summer working for Coach Packard at Ball State University in a series of girls' basketball camps, teaching fundamentals and defense. Some perks for Shae include learning the campus and Coach Packard's way of doing things and early access to the dorm. She has already moved some things into the dorm.
